Litter

This section provides info about the Community Litter Prevention Action Plan and #LitterFree campaign.

Many local organisations are doing great work undertaking regular community litter picks. However this doesn't prevent the litter.

The #LitterFreeG14 project looks at what steps the community can take to prevent litter happening. A key element is closer collaboration between the various organisations and greater engagement with local businesses and schools.

The initial focus of the project will be the Whiteinch and Scotstoun neighbourhoods in G14 and the local businesses along sections of Dumbarton Road.

Support #LitterFreeG14 now

This project is being coordinated by Glasgow Eco Trust in partnership with Scotstoun Community Council and Whiteinch Community Council and supported by Glasgow City Council. The project is funded by Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association as part of their Community Partnership Agreement with Glasgow Eco Trust.
