What is it?

West Glasgow Feminist Transport Group is a local social and campaign group advocating for accessible, affordable, reliable and sustainable transport that meets the needs of marginalised people.

Our purpose is to:

• Create intentional space for women and marginalised genders to share and support each other
• Identify barriers/root causes of transport injustice/ poverty
• Amplify voices and build community power

What do we do?

Alongside our usual meetings where we share news, digest feminist city books and plan activities, in 2025 we held workshops with local women's group, organised a city wide Feminist Transport Forum with speakers and workshops with over 40 people attending, held two 'Feminist Walkabouts' and engaged in local planning consultations.
