Community-led Transport Forum What is it The West Glasgow Community-led Transport Forum is a platform to hear local voices, share local transport issues and successes and work together towards local transport solutions. The Forum is also an opportunity to share and build understanding about city wide plans - for example Glasgow City Council’s city wide cycle network and Liveable Neighbourhoods - and coordinate responses and feedback to these. Past forum events School Transport Forum 2025 This forum brought together staff, parents and pupils from 6 local primary schools. We worked together to identify shared issues with travel, resulting in negative impacts for safety, air pollution, noise pollution and health. Issues and solutions are plotted on the cargo bike here. Through creative imagery, we then reimagined our dream school streets, incorporating signage, artwork, infrastructure and greenery to create benefits for health, climate and safety. View the school street designs here. We also heard from several organisations on support they can offer. Click on each name to view presentation slides.
