Active Travel and Sustainable Transport

Welcome to our Active Travel and Sustainable Transport section

Active travel refers to walking, wheeling or cycling for all or part of a journey instead of using motorised transport such as a car, bus or train.

Sustainable transport includes all modes of public transport as well as taxis and shared transport such as co-wheels.

We deliver a range of activities and service that encourage and develop active travel and sustainable transport in the local area as shown below.
